James L. Dodd, Aliber Distinguished Professor of Accounting, received his Ph.D. from the University of Georgia, MBA from the University of South Alabama, and B.S. from California State University, Fresno. Prior to entering academe, he worked in shipbuilding, aviation, and diesel engine manufacturing industries for about 15 years. As a Fulbright Scholar he served in Norway (1999-2000), Norwegian University of Science and Technology, and Iceland (2007), University of Iceland. Dr. Dodd teaches primarily in the areas of cost accounting, profit planning, and fraud examination. He is a co-author of
