What is Actuarial Evening?
Actuarial Evening gives students a chance to visit with professionals about future actuarial plans. Representatives from numerous companies and consulting firms will be on hand to answer your questions about career opportunities.
Where should I go to post a position (employers only)?
All position postings will be done through the University's Career BluePrint Program.
Who should attend Actuarial Evening?
All students interested in an actuarial career are encouraged to attend. There are opportunities available for anyone with an interest in actuarial science, mathematics, finance, economics and statistics. It is never too early to start thinking about full time jobs, internships, or career choices.
What can I expect at Actuarial Evening?
When you arrive, you will see booths set up in Parents Hall in the Upper Level of Olmsted. Business casual attire has been recommended to visiting representatives. You will see students visiting with exhibitors, collecting employer literature and registering for door prizes!
What should I wear?
Business casual is strongly encouraged. For women: A casual pant suit, casual skirt, dress, slacks with a blouse/sweater. For men: Slacks or khakis with a long or short sleeve collared shirt or sweater (a tie is optional).
