The Drake University College of Business and Public Administration hosted its first Women’s Leadership Breakfast on Friday, March 6 in Levitt Hall in Old Main.

“We wanted to provide the undergraduate women with a special opportunity to network with some female community leaders,” said Dr. Deb Bishop, one of the organizers of the event.
 
Nearly 100 women attended which included female community leaders, faculty, staff and students to celebrate women in business today. Guest speaker was Cara Heiden, co-president of Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, who presented a speech titled “What Glass Ceiling?”

Heiden is the highest-ranking woman among the nation’s leading mortgage banks and has been executive vice president for national consumer lending at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage.
