Robert W. Cooper, Employers Mutual Distinguished Professor of Insurance, holds a B.S. with highest honors and distinction in insurance from the University of Connecticut, and an M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to coming to Drake in 1988, he was Dean of the Huebner School at The American College where he was responsible for the CLU and ChFC professional designation programs. Professor Cooper has published extensively in academic and professional journals in the fields of insurance, and business and professional ethics.
